Lemon Seedlings - Pre-plant Seed Soak Only
Having seen anecdotal reports of the effect of vermicast on seedling development, the effect of vermicast teas on the spouting of lemon seeds was examined. Nine seeds each were soaked overnight in water or vermicast tea. Seeds were planted in Organic Cornell mix and no further treatment was applied. Since this picture, two additional seedlings have appeared in the treated tray for a total of 6. The control tray gave only the single seedling.
